Terms of Service
The service terms for publishing, sharing, reviewing, commenting on, and managing AI-generated HTML and Markdown in SlopDocs.
The service terms for publishing, sharing, reviewing, commenting on, and managing AI-generated HTML and Markdown in SlopDocs.
SlopDocs is operated by Useful Machines LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company.
These Terms govern access to and use of SlopDocs, including the website, app, API, MCP tools, browser extension capture flow, support and abuse intake, and document review links.
By accessing or using SlopDocs, you agree to these Terms and the other policies linked from the service. If you do not agree, do not use SlopDocs.
SlopDocs is a review and collaboration layer for AI-generated HTML and Markdown. It is designed for reports, plans, code reviews, prototypes, explainers, specs, launch notes, and similar generated artifacts that need safe review.
SlopDocs is not production website hosting, a checkout platform, a credential collection platform, a form backend, a general-purpose file host, an analytics platform, or a script-injection service.
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant SlopDocs the limited rights needed to store, render, cache, display, share, process, secure, debug, and back up that content to provide the service.
You are responsible for generated content you publish, the people you share it with, and whether you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, capture, comment on, disclose, or distribute it.
You should review AI-generated content before sharing it. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, unsafe, incomplete, confidential, or infringing, and SlopDocs does not endorse or verify user content.
Share links may allow anyone with the link, invited email addresses, or only the owner to access a document depending on the share policy. Treat unlisted links as shareable URLs, not secrets guaranteed to remain private after you send them to someone.
Revoking a share link blocks that link, but it does not automatically remove copies, screenshots, browser caches, exports, or other records created by people who previously had access.
Source download and comments are governed by the document and share-link settings available in the product.
If you use the SlopDocs Capture Chrome extension, you are responsible for the page content you capture and publish. The extension attempts to remove scripts and redact sensitive form values, but you should inspect the captured artifact before sharing it.
If you authorize an MCP client or browser extension connection, that client may act within the scopes you approved until the grant expires or is revoked. You are responsible for clients you connect to your account.
Use of SlopDocs is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. SlopDocs may restrict access, revoke share links, revoke connected clients, take down artifacts, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report activity to providers or authorities when necessary to protect people, the service, or legal obligations.
SlopDocs depends on third-party services such as Cloudflare, Google OAuth, email delivery providers, browser extension platforms, and Stripe for paid billing. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Uploaded or captured content may include links, references, assets, embeds, or text from third-party sites. SlopDocs is not responsible for third-party content or services.
SlopDocs may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, payment failure, legal requirement, or material violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
SlopDocs may remove or restrict a document, disable comments, revoke a share link, revoke a connected client, disable source access, or apply a retention hold when needed to investigate or prevent harm.
Users may stop using the service and request account deletion through support, subject to retention needed for security, abuse, payment, legal, support, and backup purposes.
Use of SlopDocs is also governed by the Privacy Policy. You must not use SlopDocs to collect credentials, payment details, sensitive form submissions, analytics, or production user data from viewers.
Do not attempt to bypass SlopDocs sandboxing, render isolation, share policy, authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security controls.
SlopDocs is provided as is and as available. SlopDocs does not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or that any user content is accurate, lawful, useful, safe, or non-infringing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlopDocs disclaims implied warranties and limits liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits; loss of data; interruption of use; or substitute services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlopDocs total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid SlopDocs for the service in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SlopDocs, its operators, contractors, vendors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of someone else's rights.
SlopDocs names, logos, product design, and service branding belong to SlopDocs or its operator. These Terms do not grant you a license to use SlopDocs branding.
Reports about copyright, trademark, privacy, impersonation, or other rights issues in hosted content should be sent to abuse@slopdocs.ai.
If you send suggestions or feedback, SlopDocs may use it without restriction or compensation, but you do not have to provide feedback.
SlopDocs may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes generally apply going forward.
For material Terms changes, SlopDocs should provide appropriate notice and may require signed-in users to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the service. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using SlopDocs and contact support about export or deletion options.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, except where a different law applies despite this section.
Legal notices and privacy requests can be sent to support@slopdocs.ai. Abuse-specific notices should be sent to abuse@slopdocs.ai.
